Humor / Meme South Park could do the funniest thing ever in next weeks new episode...
Have the boys run it back. What does it look like to degen in WoW with your friends 20 years later (yes, it's somehow been 20 years)?
It would be great marketing for the game too. Imagine if Blizzard helped them like they did for "Make Love..."
Anyway, super random thought I had, and who knows, maybe they'll do it!
Discussion The chambers of Atal'Utek are empty.
Is no one playing this content anymore? I’ve been playing for hours, and it feels like there are very few people around. When patch 12.1 was introduced, they were bustling with life—full of people completing quests. What happened to them?

Discussion ngl I think I'd prefer the Old Gods in their true forms from the new Hearthstone expansion to be the main villains of TLT rather than villainbatting the Titans and watch Blizzard faceplant at being "MOrAlLy gRaY" for the umpteenth time.

Discussion If any of the destroyed human kingdoms were to rebuilt under different types of government, what would you like to see? Fan-art by miloscrub
So that’s Dalaran (which will presumably be rebuilt later down the line and likely have the Kirin Tor rule restored since… come on, it’s Dalaran. There’s no way they’re getting rid of that kingdom permanently), Alterac, Stromgarde and Lordaeron (if you don’t count the Desolate Council as the new Lordaeron government). I’m not expecting anything like a modern democratic state or something like that, but if we ever did see those nations restored, their ruling dynasties have been destroyed, so it might prevent a return to the type of monarchy that we see in Stormwind, Gilneas or Kul Tiras.

Achievement Aight i think i'm finally done with pushing this season, my first ever season to push into high keys!
Played Rdruid since mid BFA and never actually pushed into higher keys but this season i finally decided to switch to a new heal spec and chose Hpala!
It's fine if i get called a meta slave but genuinely had a lot of fun playing this spec from learning the curves to forcing myself to get better as playing Lightsmith etc.
See you all my beloved key pushers in pugs next season!

Competitive Week 10: Mythic Raid - Spec Popularity vs Average DPS
TLDR: dot higher up = more popular, dot further right = more dps
Sub is getting nerfed next lockout, so this still looks a bit crazy. If you want a more readable version, I've excluded specifically Sub in this version of the chart.
Changes in relative DPS for the last 7 days: here. No huge changes this week, the largest is a further +2.4% to Sub from last week and a similar gain for Survival, although that remains very unpopular. Biggest drops are for Dev and Frost Mage.
Changes in relative popularity over the last 7 days: here. Huge gains for Sub and drops for Assa and Outlaw as every Rogue on the planet respecs, also a big increase for Aug.

Fluff Hail to Elvenbane. Master of Macros. Teacher of the way!
Was in the wow forums Seeking help with an outfit macro when I noticed that this dude showed up in a bunch of posts helping people with theirs as well. Came back today and they're still at it. Checked their activity and has almost 6500 replies in UI and Macros alone. So I just gotta give a shout out to this person. Thank you for your efforts.

Here is a character commission I did recently for a client. I really loved working on it as I find this transmog really cool !
My DMs are always open if anyone is interested in a commission for their character ! :)
Complaint Blizzard support is useless as always
I didn't receive one of the toy that is 100% drop from one of the sturdy chest in the labyrinth. It's account wide loot so I can't do it with alts. It's so depressing because I knew that I would get a response like this. What should I do now?

Discussion Old lady playing wow midnight
Should start by saying I am an 80 year old woman trying to be a fair wow midnight player. I don’t know all, the jargon so bear with me. I am slow responding to attacks so my dps is pathetic. I was playing a warlock and decided to try a death knight. Right now I am level 84 but keep dying. I was using the one button for my attacks but my dk seems to just stand there and do nothing. I would like to set a macro to perform several functions but haven’t succeeded. Can someone suggest a macro I can use to perform a successful hit.

Discussion Thrown weapons in WoW
Thrown weapons have an odd history in World of Warcraft. Weapons in WoW all have two categories assigned to them. I’m using some temp names for the categories here.
The first is the Slot, one-hand, two-hand, main-hand, off-hand, ranged, and thrown.
The second is the Type, dagger, sword, axe, mace, mace, staff, wand, gun, crossbow, and thrown.
If you notice thrown weapons have both categories as thrown. Along with this they are the only weapon to use the “throw” ability. Ranged weapon all use “shoot”
In classic WoW this means that they cannot be used with Hunter ranged abilities. Even though Hunters can have them equipped.
These inconsistencies have caused a lot of changes to Thrown Weapons of the years.
From Wowhead
Although Thrown weapons never used ammo (which was removed in 4.0.1), there have been different attempts at making thrown weapons "limited" in a similar manner to how the usage of a gun was limited to the number of bullets the player had. Among the ways Throw-weapons have functioned are: Charges: Often, a purchased common-quality weapon would have 200 charges, losing one charge each time the player threw it. Durability: The weapon would use its own durability as "charges", losing one point of durability each time the player threw it. It could thus be "recharged" by repairing it. Invulnerability: Current thrown weapons have no durability, no charges, and do not suffer any kind of reduction or damage when being used.
Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Hunters no longer can equip Thrown items.
Patch 4.3.0 (2011-11-29): Now have durability.
Patch 5.0.4 (2012-08-28): Thrown items removed.
Personally, I'd like to see an attempt to bring them back into the game. Warcraft has a long history of thrown weapons in the lore. A start would be to group them with the other ranged weapons and combine the attack abilities. For the ammo issue, I’d go with the Durability version, from there we can test usability.
I must confess that I’ve been a Hunter player since launch and I’d really like to see a way for hunters to be able to actually use them. When this has been brought up before I tend to see Warrior and Rogues try to defend hunters not using them. Saying that they're meant for those classes. My reply to this… they got removed because they became irrelevant, I’d like to keep them around.

Discussion R.I.P. Eric Bauza
Sad to hear about the sudden passing of Eric Bauza at the age of 46. He was a wonderful voice for Looney Tunes, Bob's Burgers, Solar Opposites, Ducktales, Fairly OddParents, among many others. He also voiced Master Snowdrift in Shado-Pan Monastery, Kuai the Brute in Mogu'shan Palace, Rook Stonetoe in Siege of Orgrimmar, as well as a few other notable NPCs. My heart goes out to his family...

Question How do I skip Exiles Reach?
People keep telling me you can start a level 1 on Exiles Reach and jump to level 10 & straight to your starting capital? I don't have this option.
I have completed this zone before. I also own Midnight, have completed all expansions, etc.
But my friend says they get prompted with a "Stay in Exiles Reach" and "Jump to homestead" option...

Discussion Crafting sucks in Midnight
The crafting market is the worse in Midnight. In TWW, the crafting was viable. In Midnight, crafting and trying to make gold from it is horrible. Would like to hear what other people's thoughts are on this issue.
