Still think this is the best 2k game in a while. Definitely the best one of the PS5 era. Keep in mind I only play random rec and play now online. I think people make this game more difficult than it needs to be. If you play the game with peace of mind and understanding that not every game will be perfect.. than it is a decent time. Also ... once you find out exactly what your place/role is (speaking to players who play 5v5 rec).. then the game actually gets better.

This morning booted up the game for some quick runs in random rec. Instantly noticed a barcode name on my team so I knew what type of game this was gonna be. I gave him the ball off the inbound and lo and behold… fade from half court (1st shot btw). Other team was full of ethical hoopers so I just sold the game. I actually have a high enough win% on rec so I know how to play the game properly and selling purposely isn’t my bag but any type of W we can take away from these cheaters is a W for me even if that meant losing on this virtual basketball simulation. Also as well my team mates kept feeding him the ball and sat in the c*ck chair the whole game…pathetic.

So here is my idea and if 2k did this it could eliminate the most obvious cheaters. Because that's the problem, most of these cheaters make it so obvious they are cheating, how are they not gone. What 2k needs to implement is in game GM (Game Masters) that can accept pics, video and evidence and in game review and investigate, and at least get rid the the most obvious cheaters. Ideally maybe 2k make a demo system where gm can review game footage. These Game Masters can be posted up in the main center and park to handle tickets in game on the fly. When I used to play WoW they had a system like this and it worked out very well. The positions Could even be filled by trusted community members who care and know better than most if someone is cheating. No anticheat they ever make will get rid of 100% of cheaters but this is one way they can start the purge. What do you think?

There's no reason I can get 2-4 no rhythms in a game that can cost my team. Thing is i can start the game out and 2 rhythms back to back wont register then through out the game im good then on crucial shots or a shot when i got heat check the game wants to act dumb and not know how to register a simple swirl.

At this point its feels yall purposely sabotage the mechanic, because if I can input that same thing on street fighter and it registers at pretty much a 100% clip unless i actually mess up theres really no excuse.

Imagine hopping on the game after a shift or something just to stand in a corner on offense the entire game and not deviate from it. Yes im sure your PG likes both of his nuts sucked on instead of just one.

Was just collecting daily reward yesterday and today. 2 days in a row unlimited boosts. One already would be biggest prize i ever got in all past 2k daily spins ever,but 2 days in a row? But maybe it’s common right now?

These pgs keep chucking up shots and im running a 6”10 iso lock that so happens to have 86 pass acc….why is it that u pgs cant see the corner man open…..his right there….why cant you see the defense shift…..why cant u hit the man on the pick and roll or pop……you sell me and we lose so you can have 0.1 rep with 30 points on 30% shooting….whenever i get the ball i look at my surrounding and i hit the open man when i get doubled….then the center stops giving the pg the ball cause his a bum….he chucks it to me at half court and I just keep dishing it around cause the pg just can’t….i just want to play defense and dunk the ball I don’t want your responsibilities I stopped playing pg for a reason why can’t u just do your f’ing job. Now they’re looking at me and And DOUBLING me OFF the ball because the other teams knows ur low iq. TS is insane.

i just wanna know what features do yall like about the mechanics this year and what needs to be fixed?! Me personally the dribbling finally feels responsive and u can customize almost every move but the defense is horrible. Shooting still feels like rng and post scores are more op then ever.

Since season 2, shooting has been even easier. I have an 80 3 ball, my release speed is very quick cause I have a quick reaction. They said I zen but I really don’t. I got to HQ Crew and practice before going into any game. Another thing, a lot of y’all be sleeping on that default release. All im changing is the base and keeping upper release 1&2 at default. That default has a sweet release and a big green window. All you need, is to find your base. Like I said, I don’t Zen at all and you can see on how my release timing on the top left.

NBA 2K27 has completely let the community down, failing to deliver the quality players deserve. Clunky gameplay mechanics and unaddressed bugs continue to ruin the core basketball experience, while unchecked cheating and Zen users run rampant, stripping away any sense of fair competition. To top it all off, the game’s aggressive VC system forces players into a pay to win grind that values wallets over actual skill. The community has voiced its frustration for years, but nothing ever truly changes, and the only way left to force real accountability and demand better quality is for players to hit them where it hurts and officially boycott buying the game next year.

The cheating and the sbmm on top of just not good gameplay has officially put nba 2k27 is probably the worst 2k I have ever played. Game is just not enjoyable whatsoever with cheating in every other rec game as a red plate. The devs refuse to do something about it or even acknowledge how horrendous the cheating is. I want these folks to load up on a red plate with red plate teammates and see how much fun they are having on this trash heap of a product. But if I quit the game because I don’t want to play a cheater I get banned.

They need to let us be able trade who we want and not allow cpu to make trades/sign anyone without our approval. My team signed fricken Giannis and he is absolutely ruining my rebound stats im 7’4 max wingspan 99 reb always make a point to stand in front of him and he still will snag from behind me very irritating

Everytime they have X2 rep a bunch of retards go to the rec and brick their first couple of shots then quit. Dumbest shit ever just go play theater stop going to random rec.

And want to decompress after a long 12 hour overnight shift. Not expecting the best teammates in the world. I know how random rec is….

But it’s really going to instantly load me into a game with 2 golds, 2 silvers, with 1 being a 60 overall?

Of course the other team is all purple and golds.

First off all, get your matchmaking fixed. Secondly, 60 overalls shouldn’t even be allowed in the rec unless there is like an under 75 overall mode they can all play together in. I get that it’s a non-competitive mode. But that’s unfair to anyone loading in with them and you aren’t even giving some people a chance to back out.

It was a good game, everyone left by the 2nd quarter and we was only down 11, my question is what’s the point of loading in to a rec match just to leave? If you suck at offense then just play defense atleast, me and sg was stuck with AIs that can’t play proper transition switch defense. I genuinely never quitted a match ever unless I got lagged out ts is sorry asf. Everyone had mics then they miss a shot or just genuinely suck they leave out of nowhere like gang no one is complaining let’s just play da game 😂
