Gameplay Reminder that in past 2ks standing dunks, swim moves, passing, post moves, and rebounding all worked. Paint beast were actually good builds

To prevent the continuing flood of build screenshots in our sub I am making this thread for everyone to share and discuss all the 2K27 builds you would like.
Thanks!

It’s gotten to the point that I refuse to get on randoms anymore. At least if someone tries to cheat against me and my friends we mass report the person at least. There’s is literally zero reason to play this game if you don’t own a zen since that’s all you’ll be playing against which I’d rather uninstall it all together and never play it again.

Shot fadeaway half courts the whole game. This shit is ridiculous that 2k continues to allow this.

Was just collecting daily reward yesterday and today. 2 days in a row unlimited boosts. One already would be biggest prize i ever got in all past 2k daily spins ever, but 2 days in a row? But maybe it’s common right now?

A lot of people talk about how they nerfed standing dunks and how hard driving dunks are but nobody seems to talk about how they just got rid of like every layup badge. Like no more giant slayer or slippery finisher. If you want to be a slashing guard there’s almost no point because you can’t get access to physical finisher, so you have to get dunks or there’s almost no point in driving.

You guys managed to fix cheating for a whole 3 weeks and now they're all back and far worse than before.
On top of that, you've made contests damn near impossible on this quick stop cheese so it's pretty much impossible to register anything higher than a semi open.
Great game you've crafted.

Since season 2, shooting has been even easier. I have an 80 3 ball, my release speed is very quick cause I have a quick reaction. They said I zen but I really don’t. I got to HQ Crew and practice before going into any game. Another thing, a lot of y’all be sleeping on that default release. All im changing is the base and keeping upper release 1&2 at default. That default has a sweet release and a big green window. All you need, is to find your base. Like I said, I don’t Zen at all and you can see on how my release timing on the top left.

You’re not going to be taken seriously by 2K. They know there will always be new kids picking up the game to replace the players who eventually get fed up and stop buying new editions.
I played for 10 years, all the way up to 2K26, and I’ve seen how much the game has declined over the years.
The only real thing you can do is stop playing. But you’re not going to convince 2K to make the game better by complaining when their business model keeps working. Just move on, people!

Just played 4 straight crew 3v3 games and each team was cheating (well over 2,000 games played) running around behind half court taking fadeaways.
2k has our money already so they’re not gonna care.

Finally made red plate as a solo rec PG only, only to realize that every game there is at least one person Zenning. This isn’t sour grapes, I really enjoy the game. I played three games of solo rec and each time someone dropped at least 70 points on least 90% shooting from three. Didn’t matter if it was contested. Disappointing.

I play solo REC and focus on winning!
I'm sitting 5 games under .500, but shooting 55% FG and 50% 3PT over my last 20 games.
Last game, I held a 99 mid/99 3PT matchup to just 8 points. I only took 4 shots and had 6 points because I was locked in on defense.
We were up 10 in the 3rd when the PF started toxic crying at our PG (who had 9 assists at the half). I tried to defuse the argument, and the PF turned on me, saying I was trash for only having 6 points. Never mind the fact that the moment I switched off my guy, he started torching us.
The casual REC community genuinely doesn't understand that defense wins games."
