You decided to turn on your console. You decided to choose nba 2k instead of any other game. You decided to pick MyCareer instead of any other game mode. You walked your ass over to the rec.

And when you get there you decide not to cross half court? You flop on the first fucking possession? You don’t play defense? (Note- not you suck at defense, I’d be fine with that. I mean they just fucking stand near half court).

Four games tonight, I finished none of them with more than one human teammate.

And I have to drop from gold back to silver because of that bullshit?

Per the title. If you hate and/or suck at The Track as much as I do, this week's race is great for grabbing yourself 3-4 "free"/easy Lifetime Achievements. Specifically the "Beat the target time x times in The Track".

The way this achievement works:
- The first "Target Time" of the week is the default "Target Time".
- Your best time for the week that is under the default "Target Time" becomes the new, subsequent "Target Time" for the achievement.

This week's "Target Time" provides far too much grace for how easy the map is (2:20:00 is this week's default "Target Time"). You can easily beat the target time by 20 seconds, even 10+ seconds if you mess up multiple times per race. This gives you a lot of time to cheese this achievement:

1. On the final lap, full stop right before the finish line and finish the race as close to the default "Target Time" as possible.
2. On subsequent attempts, repeat step 1 except now you're beating your previous best time as close as possible.

Full stop to acceleration on the motorcycle sucks so be careful not to stand still too long. But you can easily beat your target time by sub-1-second every time doing this.

Thinking of trying the goat builds out already have a C and PF was wondering if anyone tried out Gil is it any good? I have 4 caps probably have 7 by end of the season. Worth taking him to 93 dd and 90 vert? Mostly play 2s and 3s in theatre and rec.

I don’t understand how is it possible that random rec is filled with 40% win players. At red plate tho. If i lose 4-5 games im purple. Theres no way if i won 4 out 10 games for hundreds of games i would be red. There has to be a glitch i dont know about.

I load into the city and there's like 5 people walking around. Impossible to get more than 1 other player in any game mode, nonetheless the other team.. next gen Xbox by the way.

NBA 2K27 has completely let the community down, failing to deliver the quality players deserve. Clunky gameplay mechanics and unaddressed bugs continue to ruin the core basketball experience, while unchecked cheating and Zen users run rampant, stripping away any sense of fair competition. To top it all off, the game’s aggressive VC system forces players into a pay to win grind that values wallets over actual skill. The community has voiced its frustration for years, but nothing ever truly changes, and the only way left to force real accountability and demand better quality is for players to hit them where it hurts and officially boycott buying the game next year.

I made a new SG build made around post game and mid range shots and I can not shoot on this build at all. I have no idea why considering on my PG, I only have a 85 mid range and silver smooth operator and maybe miss 1 out of every 10 mid ranges. Yet, on my SG with 93 mid range and purple smooth I brick more then half of them. This new build is my only build that falls within 6'6 to 6'9 range so I can't just copy my other builds jumpshots.

My team signed fricken Giannis and he is absolutely ruining my rebound stats im 7’4 max wingspan 99 reb always make a point to stand in front of him and he still will snag from behind me very irritating

I’m in the process of making a big and torn between going 70bh and 50swb or just going lowest possible (50bh, 30swb). Anybody that may have used both, is it worth adding the extra playmaking? Bare in mind I don’t plan to dribble the ball at all but do have 89/93 driving dunk in mind. - will it affect my ability to drive on pnr/open lanes.

It was a good game, everyone left by the 2nd quarter and we was only down 11, my question is what’s the point of loading in to a rec match just to leave? If you suck at offense then just play defense atleast, me and sg was stuck with AIs that can’t play proper transition switch defense. I genuinely never quitted a match ever unless I got lagged out ts is sorry asf. Everyone had mics then they miss a shot or just genuinely suck they leave out of nowhere like gang no one is complaining let’s just play da game 😂

For those still playing 2K26, has anyone been experiencing your MP character not accumulating VC after each finished game?

Or if this is a known possible server issue, does any one know how to properly go about fixing it?

I have my speculations. However, would love to hear the community’s take on this matter 🙏🏾

This morning booted up the game for some quick runs in random rec. Instantly noticed a barcode name on my team so I knew what type of game this was gonna be. I gave him the ball off the inbound and lo and behold… fade from half court (1st shot btw). Other team was full of ethical hoopers so I just sold the game. I actually have a high enough win% on rec so I know how to play the game properly and selling purposely isn’t my bag but any type of W we can take away from these cheaters is a W for me even if that meant losing on this virtual basketball simulation. Also as well my team mates kept feeding him the ball and sat in the c*ck chair the whole game…pathetic.

Altogether, I have 18 cap breakers, and I’m trying to make a good all-around slasher for mainly rec. My main concern is the 60 strength, and I’m not sure if that’s something I can get away with. I always like getting other people’s opinions before I drop a band on 2K, so I figured I’d share the build and see what everyone thinks.

Anybody on a big 6’10”+ experiencing super slow dribbling animations specifically Escape Hesi/Cross/Between the legs etc. It’s like my player is moving in slow motion and after the animation finishes it goes back to regular speed?

For context I have a 6’11” with 70 Ball Handle and 55 SWB with all Pro Sigs

Any help would be appreciated 🙏🏾
