I recently ordered a comforter from Coma Inducer, and today while I was searching for the material info to wash it, I found this instead. This is literally the only tag I could find. I guess the care instructions are top secret, but the religious affiliation is very clear. :/ I even checked the website to see if I missed this being noted anywhere. I felt a little bit violated by the 100% unsolicited religious messaging.

I am this close to messaging her teacher because what the FUCK. Even if this was burgundy we obviously put in effort. I bought the shirt for the freaking purpose of this event.

I'm not gonna message the teacher because I don't need to make this a whole thing but I am fuming on my kids behalf like????

EDIT: My kid asked me to chill out so I will not be messaging her teacher 😭EDIT EDIT: Spouse and I are considering doing it anyway (after explaining to kid) since it is a good point that many parents couldn’t afford to buy new clothes like that and the effort was clearly made. Just to consider the perspective of a kid who has no control over finances.

It's Red Ribbon Week to be drug free. I don't mind the events it's a fun way to get kids engaged and they're supposed to be put in a drawing to win a scooter. Kids who got perfect attendance won beats headphones. I live in a district of predominantly lower income marginalized communities and encouragement to show up to school is their main drive because they have very low daily attendance percentages.

EDIT 2: We love her teacher!!!!!! She's a fabulous teacher in all ways this just really grinded my gears.
