Where are the highlight videos?

• Upvotes

I’m sorry if I missed any info regarding this, but I noticed I can’t find a single highlight video on the entire sub. As a European fan who rarely gets the chance to watch games, the videos on this sub were my main way of actually seeing some NBA content.

Is there a reason I don’t see any videos or is this some sort of bug?

[Scotto] Sam Presti on whether he'd call Russell Westbrook out of retirement with Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace out: "I haven't thought about anything relative to the roster spot... We have a tremendous challenge in front of us, but this is what we do and what we signed up for."

Jeff Teague on Miami: "No disrespect to Spoelstra, he a great coach but their game plans, I’m like, what are y’all doing? That’s not what makes you special... It was not fun playing with Giannis. Doesn’t mean he’s not a great player, but he’s a very tough player to play with."

If Thunder gets 60 wins, Shai better 3 peat mvp

• Upvotes

If Thunder gets 60 wins, Shai better 3 peat mvp. This is like the equivalent of Jokic losing Jamal Murray and Gordon and Knicks losing Kat. The mvp is shais if they finish top seed or there about.

Despite these injuries to OKC, they still have the 2nd best championship odds

• Upvotes

I keep seeing everyone dooming about OKC, but they still have the second best championship odds via Vegas.

This team has a historically good bench, even without JDub and Wallace. They kill teams with Shai sits, even in the playoffs (OKC has been better without Shai in the playoff for three straight years). They are truly a team of generational depth and still have a superstar (Shai), an all nba player (Chet), three god-tier role players (Mitchell, Hartenstein, and Caruso), and plenty of other depth and high-caliber young players.

Obviously these injuries hurt their ceiling, but they’re still a Tier 1 contender with the Spurs.

OKC needs to get Norman Powell or kyrie irving after jdubbs injury

• Upvotes

Okc needs a reliable durable scorer who they can cover for on defense. I think derozan would be good, powell would be even better and only gets paid $20 million. He was an all star last season and always steps up when given minutes. Okc should go after him after what happened to jdubb using their disabled player exception.

NBA/Sports Betting

These professional leagues have turned in to absolute shit since betting/gambling has taken over. Adam Silver needs removed! Solely focused on enriching his own. F him! I was just looking up a preview of a basketball game the other day and all I find in every single video is who I should put money on in each game. Can I watch one video that isn’t talking about betting and instead just focused on the game, players, adjustments, skills, etc.?

🇸🇮6’8 Guard, Stefan Joksimovic for Baskonia vs. Valencia in R4 of ACB: - 10 points - 4 rebounds - 4 assists - 32 minutes The 17yo lefty guard was efficient driving downhill and attacking closeouts. His confidence with the ball at PRO level is a major improvement for the young player.

Joksimovic created a huge advantage with good kick-out passes and quick transition play from defense to offense.

Stefan has delivered two strong games in the last three days against top EL teams (PAO & Valencia). His role is rapidly growing as he earns more and more trust from coach Perasovic.

Boston Celtics announcer Brian Scalabrine says Brown demanded a Trade so he”s confused on why he’s mad at Tatum

It’s obvious 'Mr. Spray Paint Head' is mad he’s not as valuable as he thought he was. 🤷🏿‍♂️ I guess T-Mac throwing shots at Tatum as soon as he returned was really Jaylen Brown speaking through him.

Brown is mad he’s never been seen as better than Tatum—except when it’s time for fans and the media to hate on Tatum. That’s the only time Brown was ever considered a great player. The year he won Finals MVP, he didn't even make All-NBA. He’s literally a two-time All-NBA player, but you would’ve thought he was a consistent All-NBA guy the way people have been gassing him up. For some reason, a lot of fans seem to think Jaylen Brown’s whole career is just three playoff series.

I know everyone is still recovering from the JDub injury but...

I'm feeling like this is gonna be SGA's year. The narrative is now for him so if he averages 34-36 on his elite efficiency along with the team still winning 62-70 games then he will have a really strong case. I'm probably gonna get insanely downvoted for this take (as I should) but just hear me out before you start putting in the angry comments.

Among the winless teams, which team will be the last to get a win?

Eastern Conference

  • Knicks - Nah, the champs are too good to be the last to get a win.
  • Bucks - Maybe
  • Nets - Maybe
  • Heat - As flawed as their roster construction is, I think they're too talented to go last. It would be hilarious though if they do go last.

Western Conference

  • Pelicans - They've been surprisingly competitive in the games that they've played so far. They lead by 20 in Denver in the last game in the 2nd half only to choke and lose. I don't think they'd be the last to get a win.
  • Warriors - Yes, my money is on them. They've got a tough schedule coming up. They might go 0-6.
  • Kings - Yes
