Knicks 0-3! First time NBA Champs started 0-3 since Dallas in 11'-12' season
Knicks starting 0-3 makes me feel a little better about the Heat starting 0-3. Arguably pretty even opponents, Magic slightly worse loss at home VS Heat losing on the road to the Hornets. This is season is wild is far.

Eventual NBA Champions that started their season on a losing streak (minimum 2 games)
With the Sacramento Kings starting their season 0-3, many people are discussing what that might mean for their championship aspirations this season. I was curious and wanted to see how many teams that eventually won the championship that season opened the year with a losing streak (a streak being 2+ games).
In NBA history, 6 teams have started the year 0-2 or worse and went on to win the title. Almost all of them were coming off of a trip to the Finals or winning the championship.

Time will tell if the Sacramento Kings will overcome their lottery hangover and develop into the contender they were expected to be entering this season.
Edit - I missed the 1958 St. Louis Hawks originally who had the two worst opening losses of all these teams. Six teams, not 5.

Jonathon Kuminga, that’s right Jonathon Kuminga is leading the nba in 3p%
Obviously only 3 games in but with 3.7 threes a game (11 total lol) Kuminga is shooting a 63% clip currently putting him ahead of second place Austin Reaves. While obviously this will go down this plus his really good rebounding and defense for the wolves can be a game changer as they look to make a push in the west.

The Heat are currently 0-4. Let's say they start the season 0-8 would you consider trading Giannis to rebuild as the Heat GM?
Upcoming games:
Hawks: Heat will probably lose Hawks are good
Pacers: Heat are favored to lose this too
Lakers: Lakers have looked good Luka will just cook the Heat probably.
Clippers: Maybe the Heat could win?
If you start the season so horribly it's pretty clear this roster construction is horrible and you can't contend with Giannis who is in his 30s. Maybe it's just better to trade him and Bam for picks and try to rebuild.

What makes Domantas Sabonis such a great rebounder?
Domantas Sabonis is 6'10" and isn't a 7' and above center like Wembanyama, Kessler or Donovan Clingan. He has also been the NBA rebounding leader from 2023-2025. Currently in the 26/27 season across three games, he is leading the league in rebounds at 17.3 RPG as in on track to securing his fourth rebounding leader award.
What makes him such a great rebounder despite his height limitations as compared to his 7' peers?
